Heading into the second half of the summer, The No Shows are coming out of the gate strong with a reggae-rock single reminiscent of The Police & Sublime, for their first release ever. The repetitive yet punchy guitar pattern and the catchy vocals are a perfect mix with the Caribbean-style drums that will make you want to catch the fastest flight to a tropical retreat, or maybe just request a weekend off to go to Caribana in Toronto.
lyrics
Yeah, my soul is hungry
Howlin' at the moon
If I don't get somebody
Who knows what I'll do
Watch what ya say
It might come back to haunt you
Watch what ya say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
The Devil is right beside me
Telling me what to do
I don't mind the heat, but I rather stay next to you
Watch what ya say
It might come back to haunt you
Watch what ya say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say to her
As she opens up the door
Low and behold
Here and forever more
Watch what ya say
It might come back to haunt you
Watch what ya say
Watch what ya say
Watch what ya say
It might come back to haunt you
Watch what ya say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
You better watch what you say
